As the name suggests that it is the cycle of flow of nutrients between biological and geographical components of an ecosystem or environment.

Process of Nitrogen Fixation

Nitrogen Fixation-> -> Ammonification ( formation of ammonia) and Nitrification  (formation of Nitrates) > Denitrification (Nitrate to Nitrogen) 

It can be done both by non-biological (physical) and biological way.
